Ah ahahahaha...  From what I can read,
They've started filming 2046 as early as 2 weeks ago. Some of the lead actors are already in HK filming it. Takuya is going to HK in March... I guess to film.
But the movie set is totally covered up so the media is unable to see anything...
I think the last paragraph is basically telling the background of the movie, which you most prob know already....
My mega summary.... am I correct???

yup... what ya summarise was correct.. keke...
Main topic was saying him going to hk in march.... but this is not confirmed.
Last part also mentioned that there were rumours the casts were changed and also rumours of Takuya not filming anymore etc...
Takuye,
i remember other than 2046, Takuya did mention having another movie rite? Though there's no news yet but this also mean there's another chance of seeing him in the theatres...

Yup, yup.... nearer and the air tix are also cheaper...
But might not be able to see him as i suppose there be loads of body guards surrounding him...
like ayumi had lotsa body guards too and i remember his trip to bangkok the other time,
read from somewhere that he have these army ppl as body guards?!?! 
The security are so much tighter.... 
But on the other hand, there are loads of vcds of their shows selling in hk.....

Ya ya ya takuya did mentioned.............but if it is japanese's movie i think we can't see him in cinema in s'pore rite which like nakai's movie.........?  
Information from Isla that takuya said he will go to HK in MAR. I think should be confirmed and hopefully everythings will be fine, so that we can see takuya in cinema. hahaha~~~~~

takuye, actually even if its a japanese movie, i suppose it will come to Singapore....
Well, Tsuyoshi had his messenger shown here and Takeshi Kaneshiro have his returner shown here too...
I suppose Singapore wise, they will see if the movie is on demand and then they get the movie to be screened here.
Emm... not to say there's no demand for Nakai or anything... (personally i wanted to watch mohouhan alot...) but i suppose in Singapore, most ppl doesn't really know who Nakai is. When they see Tsuyoshi, they will go "Da Wei Wang" due to the Food Fight dorama. Takuya is also quite know for his dorama here too... so my guess it will be shown too...

Think it's nice that filming's been resumed and Takuya's back to it but really, they've EXPANDED the cast so much so that I wonder how much of Takuya we can see?!?!

Although HK is cheaper and nearer, I think it's still easier to spot him in Tokyo.
In Japan, we know more or less where they'll be, what they're doing when. It's so much easier. In HK, we've not no clue where they'll be!! Oh at least I don't. Plus, they've got no security while in Japan except during concert time..... Don't you think???

i really wonder how 2046 will turn out. it's been "filming" for like so many years already!!! and they have a million BIG stars in the movie ok. wong kar wai better not be like wasting my precious takuya's time and effort, and then in the end he appears for like 5 seconds!

Hrm....
read from a BBS that the filming of 2046 will be done and it should be finished in time to be taken to the Cannes Film Festival.
The film shold be completed at the end of March.So If Takuya is still in this movie,he shld be going to HK or countries of the shooting anytime from now till the end of March.
If not,I guess we won't be seeing him in Wong Kar Wai's film afterall.

This film has been going on for a long time ne....it's really weird as to why this particular director is taking so long on this movie....I really hope they do finish it soon as I'm sure a lot of us out there would really like to see Kimura san in big screen ne...and it's been awhile since Kimura san has done a movie huh??
I'm definitely crossing my fingers seeing the success of both Nakai kun and Tsuyopon's movies, I'm sure Kimura's movie, if it's ever going to be done, would be very interesting....

2046 is nominated for the 57th CANNES FESTIVAL!!!!!!!
From the cannes-festival websites and newspapers:
"In 2004, the Cannes Festival Official Selection is composed of feature films presented in three categories: Competition, Out of Competition, Uncertain Regard. Hong Kong Director Wong Kar Wai's "2046" is nominated under the competition category along side with 17 other international films, including Shrek2 and The LadyKillers"
to note: 2046 is the only chinese film to make it into this official competition selection!!
" "2046" illustrates a writer in the 1960s (Tony leung) writing a book "2046" that revolves around issues on the future.. Although the story is set in the future, there had been a mysterious train that brings its passengers to a place called 2046, where nothing changes there. Thus, everyone desires to reach 2046 for they do not wish for changes, and at the same time go to 2046 to bring back lost memories. yup tt's what i translated frm this chinese newspaper.. can't really understand the story tho! sounds very... mysterious.. but with kimura takuya as the cast i think the movie is going to be VERY NICE!! haha

haha ya! as long as our dear TAKUYA is in the show, <<2046>> will definitely be GREAT!! 
i've neva watched any of wong kar wai's movie before but it seems to me tat his shows are quite warped...haha not like the normal kinda movie that I personally wld go watch! BUT for Takuya i wanna be the FIRST FEW to catch it!! 
oh ya, read tat Takuya may join wong kar wai at the cannes screening in France in mid-May...but of course tats juz papers' speculation..hehe...if Takuya is really going down then its really gonna be such an experience for him! n can I fly to France too??  |

i'm so not sure..read it from the papers tat Takuya may fly down...cos the main cast wld be invitied...but i tink its quite possible that Takuya will join in the screening..which is on 12th/13th May if i'm not wrong.... Humph...if he's REALLY going, U're in LUCK!! YAY!!  I hope tat he'll be able to join wong kar wai there tho..cos its gonna be such a prestigous intl film event...

hihi in fact i'm already @ italy... haha just reached here this morning.. pretty cold, arnd 14oC.. anyway i doubt there will be any news about the cannes festival here, esp when i can't read italian!!!!!! haha anyway so nvm if there's any news of him confirmed attending the festival, pls pls post it here then maybe if schedule allows i can get my host family to give me directions to france.. some of my friends are sort of interested too...
i really hope he goes! maybe i can say tt i specially flew frm singapore to france to see him? ah but i dun think i can even get into the area of radius 1km away from him. sigh. nvm i'll try to take picutures!!!!!!

This is really exciting. Finally a SMAP member breaks out of the tight boundaries of Japan.... Hope this is only the beginning to SMAP in oversears projects. Kimura is also the first SMAP I believe to have his picture splashed out in the press kit and it is on the internet!! I think because it is overseas, Johnny has no control over it. Either that or Wong Kar Wai bought the rights to use Kimura's face. WHat's more, SMAP gets mentioned as the most popular band in Japan!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Demo ne, I think they made a big Boo boo.... I'm not a Kimura Ichiban fan but does he have a drama called Wonderful Life??? They were talking about Beautiful Life desho!!

hihi everyone... just came back frm italy trip.. was supposed to stay till june 7 but then i wasnt feeling well so got sent back to singapore!!! so there goes my dream of flying to france from there! me and my 3 other frenz even booked the air tix already.. this totally sux.. i am very very disappointed.. maybe going to france was the highlight of this entire italy exchange programme, and now it's all gone and i'm back in singapore 
but anyway it was quite sad that the festival's reports in europe was mainly centred arnd their own productions.. after buying 3 different newspapers every day for 2 weeks, there were only 4 reports on asian films/stars and out of these 4, only 2 were on 2046.. and they merely mentioned tt there is an asian film competing, no mention of kimura at all.. only wong kar wai and gong li...i was so sad..
but still this is a total breakthrough for him.. i bet everyone is so proud of him, not only japanese but asians on the whole! he just needs to know that here we are in singapore LOVING HIM~
