I just watched tonight's SMASTA & I'm so so dying of excitement!!!!!!!!!! My heart is pounding!!
Seeing Takuya on the red carpet in a big international film event is such a kimochi feeling!!!!!!!!!! He looked so cool & relaxed.... Seeing him with the palm trees blowing in the wind, laughing is such a feel good moment.... The way he gave his interview..... Kakoii....
Seeing Shingo so happy & proud for his big brother is another amazing kimochi feeling..... his face was beeming when he saw kimura walking the red carpet!!!!!!!!! SHINGO KAWAIIII!!!! I love it when he said after the clip, with his ever charming smile: "Kimura-kun, boku ne onaji group desu ne...!!!" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! (Pams> Atashi mo... I love this part)
I was wondering tho, when Wong-san was talking about Kimura in English, Kimura was nodding and all, as in understanding what he was talking about.... I watched Shingo and he had no reaction..... (*Shin: Panic*) I really hoped Shingo understood at least a little of it....
Hmmm... Kimura was doing something out of the ordinary... He was signing autographs!!!! Even Shingo was so surprised that he did.... Ahh, wish I was there in Cannes....
Anyways, KIMURA-KUN!!!!!!!!!!! Omedetou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shin> I saw a Translator with him... she is just sitting behind him and I saw her mumbling something to Takuya... So what I'm thinking is whether he is listening to what Wong Kar Wai is talking or from the Translator???? Can't figure out that because usually people who don't understand the language, will tend to move their body more to the translator to hear what is the translation.... but I did not see Takuya move to any side......maybe he is listening to both sides yar... hee hee hee *impossible???  Baka me*

kimura takuya, who has always been giving the impression of being very cold, finally met the press at Cannes. Unlike his usual self, he was very friendly and approachable, and showed his serious attitude towards work. He toasted the reporters with plain water after the interview, and used a mere 20 mins to _____ (cannot display this chinese character) all the asian reporters present.. During the interview, when asked about a scene where he hugged faye wong, he appeared to be _______ (cannot display again!!)
It was rumoured that Kimura had to return to japan before the announcement of the winner of the palme d'or because of family matters.. but it was apparently because he had to return to japan to shoot a CM.. He spent a relaxing morning in Cannes and had breakfast at an open-air cafe before heading for the airport
Kimura's views on LOVE
During the interview, kimura expressed that he tried his best to communicate with the movie staff despite the language barrier since he was the only japanese actor involved in 2046.. altho he only had scenes with faye wong thruout the whole movie, he had a good time in cannes with all the other actors of 2046
he felt that working with wong kar wai was a very good experience, and he hopes that there wud be more opportunities to work with him again, and he was very pleased with the final results (i.e. 2046)... he said "my character is actually tony's character's future, and i used a lot of imagination when playing this role. In the film, tony has many women around him, but he never gave any of them his sincere love. I could hardly accept that, cos i feel that it is most painful for a man when he cannot say "i love you" to the woman he loves... i cannot bear this pain, so i had some insecurity when playing this character"
on Faye Wong
When asked on his working experience with faye wong, kimura replied enthusiastically "altho we played robots, there was a scene where faye wong and i hugged each other.. i could feel faye's body heat and heartbeat completely... hugging her gave me a feeling of being surrounded by a female's warmth"
this superstar (i.e. kimura takuya) was full of praise for zhang zhen's style... he said "there were certain scenes of zhang zhen that i cannot forget... he smokes with such style (seh-ness) and the scene where his eyes turned red before tearing was unforgettable"
meeting up with nakata hidetoshi
as 2046 is a show on a train who can bring its passengers back into the past, kimura says "if there's a chance, i would want to return to the time where i was still a student, cos my results were really bad, and i want to work hard for good results if i return to the past"
also, kimura's good fren nakata actually headed for cannes to support kimura... but he was all along at low-profile, and hence was not discovered by the reporters.. apparently, kimura met up with nakata the other day when he had free time, and the two of them were chatting at the hotel's cafe

2046 didn't WIN anything? 
And from an article in Sina, it mentioned that Kimura only appeared for like 7 minutes(that includes a kissing scene with Faye) in the movie and he changed his schedule and left Cannes 5 hours before the results were announced. I'm not sure how true it is so we'll have to see it ourselves when 2046 is out in Singapore.
And also, another article in Sina mentioned that Wong may add other scenes and 'in the making' scenes in the DVD version of 2046.
Drats, this has spurred me to get a DVD player soon~~~

I have tried to come to tearms with Takuya and her, esp since the lovely family photos just a few weeks ago.... I really felt good about her for once... now..... I think I'm really sad... For Takuya..... Putting myself in his shoes, I'd really hope my wife could be more supportive.... At such a 'high' point in my life, I'd really like to be able to share it with my other half.... But, I guess not for him....

I got read this news before...........BUT, i won't believe it.........takuya got mentioned at narita that his family wish him "have a good times".
1 ) Chatting between husband and wife.......i don't think ppl will know it........
2 ) Still can remember got a big news said takuya just 163cm.......from someone nearest him.....???
3 ) Also got news said takuya got body odor...........from ppl close with him said???

Just to let you know...that article is totally a lie!
I live in Japan, I have watched almost all the shows about cannes, and read most of the magazine articles...and NO WHERE have I seen them say one unkind word about Takuya. Most are very proud of him.
yes it is true the 15 year old boy suddenly became famous...but that is only to be suspected, I mean Takuya is already famous!!!

This post was rather late.... But still decided to put it up.. This is the pic of Takuya when he was in Cannes... He was wearing a burmudas, T-shirt and a pair of slipper in cannes. OMG!!!!! Still look super kakoiiiiii lor. He is wearing something sooooo simple.... so causal only.... already can bring out his kakoiiiiiiiiiii... On the other hand if some other people were to wear like him... "Cannot imagine liao"..... hahahahahaaaa He was interviewed by F2 a few weeks ago and I think he mentioned something like he usually don't wear that kind of outfit in Japan.......

My oh my.... Takuya looks soooo..... I dono.... He looks so..... Kakoii yet... there's something normal about him... Come to think of it, he really doesn't wear like this is Japan does he?? I don't hink I've ever seen him dressed so casual in Japan. Although for Shingo this would be normal, he always looks like he's ready to hit the beach in Hawaii!! I find this Takuya really cute.... Suki..
