I would really like to coordinate some kinda of meeting with minna if for nothing else but to take pictures for scrapbook. Freebird and CS members always get together at the concerts. I have a question about the stage arrangement of Niigata Big Swan stadium.. Is the main stage located on the Gate N side (the narrower side, not the mainstand side)? I have seats for the S block stand, and I have a bad feeling that the stage will be directly opposite and we'll be at the back. (and the distance from us and the stage would be the long side of the field) Or is the main stage on the gate W side (mainstand)?
This is my first concert and even from photos of the stadium/previous concerts I can't tell. If the stage is on the mainstand side, it would be easier to see from all angles.. but then if that's true, all the seats in the mainstand will have to be empty +that would make the audience smaller..
I just want to know so I'll be prepared.. Thanks!

OHISASHIBURI MINNA!!!! I'm so sorry I've totally MIAed the past months!!! I've been so tired after work... used to be able to hang in there but nowadays... I think age is catching up!!
Anyways, no time for small talk... it's SHOWTIME once again and at the spur of the moment, I decided... What the heck! I can't possibly miss first con and wait till 2 months later like I planned.... (Originally planned to go Kokuritsu & Tokyo domes) So....
I AM GOING TO SAPPORO & NIIGATA!!!!!!!!!!!
It was only decided a few days ago so the past week was MAD! Mad rush to book airticks, hotel & most impt, CONCERT ticks!!! PHEW!! Now everything is settled and I will TAKE OFF tomorrow!!!! Praise the Lord! YATTA!!! It was so last min so it was a huge challenge!!! But thank God now things are ay-ok!! P-chan even managed to get an Arena C ticket!!! Whoo-Wee!!! Will be going with P-chan & Kyoko.
MINNA!!! I'm so excited....

For those who had applied Osaka concerts, you can call in to check now!!!!!!!!
Kokuritsu and Tokyo dome will only be able to check on 7/28 (Fri) from 8pm onwards.

ＳＭＡＰが２６日、都内で会見し、同日発売のニューアルバム「Ｐｏｐ Ｕｐ！ＳＭＡＰ」と３０日スタートの全国ツアーについて意気込みを語った。香取慎吾（２９）と倖田來未（２３）とのデュエットナンバーのほか、メンバーそれぞれがさまざまなアーティストと"夢のコラボ"を披露するなど興味深い作品に。その新作を引っさげてのツアー。「全国各地にＳＭＡＰが"飛び出します"」（香取）と今年も熱い夏を約束した。

１７枚目となる新作は２枚組アルバム。夏らしいポップな曲やバラード、ラップなどお得感たっぷりの内容。ディスク２ではメンバー５人のカラーを出し、各アーティストとの"コラボ曲"を収録しており、こちらも注目だ。
例えば、木村拓哉（３３）は自らオファーしたという書籍「東京タワー」のリリー・フランキー氏が作詞（作詞名・Ｅｌｖｉｓ Ｗｏｏｄｓｔｏｃｋ）した曲に挑戦。草なぎ剛（３１）は沢田研二の「ＴＯＫＩＯ」をカバーし、草なぎ自身の韓国語訳に韓国の男性ダンスグループ、ＳＨＩＮＨＷＡのエリックがラップで参加。香取はＭＯＮＫＥＹ ＭＡＪＩＫが手掛けた曲を幸田とデュエットするなど、いずれも話題性十分。
新アルバムについて中居正広（３３）は「昔は（ＳＭＡＰのＣＤを聴いていて）、飛ばす曲がありましたけど、今回は飛ばす曲がない」と笑わせつつ自信作であることをＰＲ。草なぎも「最高のアルバム」と自負した。
そんな興味深いアルバムを引っさげての今年のツアーのタイトルは「Ｐｏｐ Ｕｐ！ＳＭＡＰ－飛びます！トビだす！とびスマ？ＴＯＵＲ－」。中居は「遠くにいるスタンドのお客さんも近くに感じられることを考えています」と"目玉演出"をチラリ。アルバム（初回盤）には「Ｐｏｐ Ｕｐ（飛び出す）」にひっかけて「３Ｄメガネ」が付いており、これに関連しているのかも。
今年も歌に踊りにパワー全開のステージが期待される。木村は「この時期（ツアー中）しか踊っていないんで全く違う筋力が必要になる。要所要所に出てくる痛みを実感すると夏だなって」と、全身全霊のステージで魅せる意気込みだ。
一方、もしＳＭＡＰを"飛び出す"としたらの質問に香取は「ハロプロでフットサルやりたい（笑）。あとはＫＡＴ－ＴＵＮとか」といえば、中居は「巨人に入る」。草なぎが熟考中、他のメンバーからは「ＳＨＩＮＷＨＡだろう」の声がかかったが、「やっぱりＳＭＡＰがいいです」と話した。稲垣吾朗（３２）は「ワイナリーを経営したい」。木村は「想像つかないけど洋服とか何かモノをつくっていると思う。ＳＭＡＰを外からとらえてみたい」と個性豊かに答えていた。
★１０３万人を動員予定ツアー、初の新潟公演も
今年のツアーは、今月３０日の札幌ドームから１０月９日の東京ドームまで、全国７都市８会場２１公演行い、１０３万人を動員予定。特に日産スタジアム、国立競技場、東京ドームと、首都圏のスタジアム・ドーム規模での３会場８公演は日本人アーティストで史上最多公演数となり、この８公演で４８万人以上を動員する。また、昨年メンバーが熱望していたにもかかわらず、スケジュール調整がつかず実現しなかった新潟中越地震後、初の新潟公演も実現した。
★渋谷で３ＤのＳＭＡＰに会える！
発売当日の２６日、東京・渋谷では"大プロモーション"が展開された。渋谷パルコ公演通りの入り口には、幅４メートル、高さ２．４メートルの巨大な３Ｄメガネが登場、街行く人の関心を引いた。オブジェの内側では３Ｄパネル展が実施され、メンバーの３Ｄ写真を見ることができるように。また、渋谷・宇田川町のＺＥＲＯ ＧＡＴＥの地下１階「ラ・ファブリック」には１日限定の「Ｐｏｐ Ｕｐ！Ｃａｆｅ」がオープン。オリジナルコースター、テーブルマットで店内一色がＰｏｐ Ｕｐ！一色に染まった。

There will be tickets sold to the public? Hmmm is it only going to be for them concert dates do you think? With the announcement of the sales so close to the date of the sales I think I will have to keep checking the forums whilst I'm in Japan. >.<;; lol
If tickets for any of the ones I'm able to make it to go on public sale it looks like I'll be awake and alert very early on atleast one morning of my holiday. XD

yahoo japan auctions has quite a few of the official goods up already!! all the uchiwas, some photos, the penlight, keitai straps are there! The cap looks pretty cool too. The photos look great! Takuya looks so kakkoii on the uchiwa and Shingo looks gentle with his smile.. Nakai's is hilarious!

Hi Guys... At the hotel lobby leaving for Sapporo Dome now. The goods are great! Minna looks so good. MINNA!! They ALL look so kakoii!! Shingo has his platinum hair in the photos.
The penlight looks like a crystal ball on a stick and we've been using it all day as a 'mic'... Hahaha... Impersonating 'Live' reports from Sapporo Dome or singing the new songs into it!!! Hahaha! It was so much fun! I got sun burnt buying concert goods! My face is pain & pink! Haha!
We are so totally overwhelmed with excitement! *SCEAM*

ooh.... they are already almost 1 hr into the first concert... i wonder how it is like...
i read some report from nakai's radio program and nakai said that there's some special arrangement for this year... it doesnt matter where you are seating, you will still feel the same...
wonder whats the theme for this year concert too...... ~~~

Well for the 2nd time in my life, I am submitting myself to the torture of getting a visa. My only inspiration is Tokyo Dome Sept. 28th.  Gambarimasu!
