Johnny retired a few years ago, and his sister Mary runs things now. So you can't blame anything on him at this point. :P
has he really retired? i dont know anything about that but... nah. even if he has, by public eye, retired, he's still got the biggest say in everything and according to how all the johnnys groups talk about him, he's obviously still very around. i have never met a nice johnny employee before so i'm sure you either have to already be a b*tch when you join, or they train you with special johnny rules to become one.

He retired from "president", and his sister became that. I think he has creative input and probably say on who goes in what group but financial and other management go to his sister. I can't be sure, though. I hear Mary's daughter Julie also works there.
And they have western names because they were born in the US. Johnny has a Japanese name too, but he always uses the western one.

1.03 million of staff??? that will be too many, right??? I don't know, I am not good in Japanese either. But base on how they say it.... usually, it refers to the number of audience... and the fact is, there will be lesser than 1.03 million people getting a ticket, cux some of us are already planning to go to more than 1 concert. kekekeeee... 
and 1.03 million is not MANY. ya... it's a huge number, but for drink smap, the number was 1.15 million ne.. 120,000 seats lesser than drink smap.

for the "pick any venue" choice, i think they had it last year too.
btw, i love your point... call them on 19th and make decision on 20th. hahahaa... bastards!  they should be in a big rush for the deposite for the venue and production of goods. kekekeeee... or their investment plan DO make a different if we give them money 1 week earlier.

My first post on these forums as I've normally been on Channel Smap. Konnichiwa!
I'm in panic mode now although I have to wait for a while before searching for tickets... Wondering if I will get one for any concerts..... I want to suprise my girlfriend with these tickets and see her in shock.  She has been doing a lot of this trip to Japan for me and this is my big Arigatou to her. ^^ I was trying to become a fc member in time but the people helping me are too slow. ; ; Now it would be a lot easier to tell her as she is Japanese and could help me get the tickets, but, I want it to be a suprise ne. I'm relying on help from people here and on channel smap to help me get tickets....... Please help me out.

did anyone's blue envelope application arrive yet??! No one here seems to be screaming about receiving it like last year, but it was supposed to arrive by the 16th. [especially for those going to the first 3 concerts] And if it doesn't arrive by the 16th, I heard that for those who want to go to Sapporo/Niigata are supposed to call Johnny's to make sure it's on the way. and i tried calling once, and it's only the automated machine!!! ahh.. it's midnight over there in Japan now, so hopefully the letters will be delivered in the morning.. this part is so stressful!
Edit: I just got word they received it!! =)

It's Monday... Tomo is the last day for the applications.... I haven't got ANY blue envelope yet.... Neither did my friends... Are they doing this on purpose to cut the number of people to go concert!!! This is too much!!!!

OH...this is just EXTREMELY WONDERFUL. i just got home from my hols. heard that the concert dates were released but i only knew about the 20th june deadline thing NOW!!!!!!! like 30secs ago. and it's already 10:21pm now over in japan!!!!!!!! ARGHHH!!!!!!!!it's the first year i got my membership and can actually apply for tickets and they're doing this to MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! can someone just kill johnny's??!!!! this is so unfair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhh...i know i should have been here earlier, but been really busy....boy, i am aiming for the final con but seriously, with this year's new rules or whatnot, i'm getting kinda scared....i can see that i'm probably going to be spending TONS of $$$ for the final con....so right now i'm just seeing when i'll get a job to support myself...i can't even make any real plans yet...so for those that are going for sure, ganbatte!!! i hope minna will get the tix to the concerts they want.....and i hope i'll see some of you at the concerts.....ganbarimasu!!!

For those who had transferred the application by 6/20....
Those who had applied for Sapporo and Niigata Concert can call on July 4th to check to see if they got the ballot or not.
For Yokohama, Fukouka, and Nagoya Concerts, will be able to call around mid July to check.
For Kokuritsu, Osaka and Tokyo Concerts, will be able to call around late July to check.
Exact dates will be updated on the Johnnys site at a later time.
Note:
Certain people might not be able to check via the phone system if :
1. Transfer of the application was done after the deadline which is June 20th.
2. Phone number was not registered at the Fanclub.
3. During the transfer of the application, any missing particulars etc..

Although I don't have a membership so this really doesn't apply to me, it just made my heart happy to know that the concerts are just around the corner and I might be able to see one or two or three . Well.... actually this is a common scene every year.
Some people prefer to buy these as the price will not be too high and also they wanted to secure a tix to the concert.
There are chances that you might get a good seat with not such a high price... but of cuz there are also chances that you might get a bad seat. Its just a bet you have to make.
Prices went soaring high for those auctions that already indicated where the seats will be. Especially those seats that are nearer to the stage or hanamichi, the prices are unbelievable.

For those who had applied Nissan Stadium, Fukouka and Nagoya, you can call in now to confirm whether you go the tickets or not...

The above concert goods can only be purchased from the concert venue.
Only uchiwas, penlight (maybe) and photos are also sold in Johnnys shop.

Eh!! There's open sales for the 1st 2 venues. Meaning there might be a chance for the rest of the venues(alrite,maybe not all,for example kokuritsu and tokyo dome) to go on public sales too deshou!?
