oh i realised we didn't post about the last concert!! hee hee! we were so caught up about meeting the boys... gomen na!!!!
last concert was really special, and different from previous years... i'm not really sure why. it lasted really long, almost 4 and a half hours. by that time, my legs were really aching from all the jumping that i did. i can only imagine how tired they must be! poor boys...
the crowd was really high that night. everyone was really responsive to everything that smap did and said. during the mc when crowd response hasn't been that great so far (well, like sometimes smap will say something then the reaction is really slow). but this night, the mc was really cool. everytime they did or said something, there was such a loud and fast response from the crowd that even smap themselves were quite shocked
first they talked about why they chose miyagi stadium for the last concert. for one thing, i think they must have had a lot of people asking them this question so they thought they must explain. the stadium is a real big pain in the ass to go to. we started queueing for the bus at 2:30 in the hot sun, and we only got on the bus about 3:30pm!!! then the bus ride took an incredible hour to reach the stadium that's in the middle of all this rice fields and maize fields and well it's just in the middle of NO WHERE!!
so nakai was saying, yes yes all of you must be wondering why why WHY miyagi? then he turned to tsuyoshi and asked him for an explanation. tsuyoshi was his usual self... blur. hhahaha. oh he's so cute.
he said, "sou desu ne... ano... sou ne...ano....ano........." for a million years, then upon more prompting from smap, he said "oh yah i think it is because coming to miyagi suited everyone's schedules so we came here."
nakai called him a baka for his answer. then nakai turned to takuya and asked for an answer. i can't remember exactly what takuya said but it was something like oh who cares which stadium or dome we go to. does it really matter? everywhere we go, we give 110% all the time so where we go is all the same. we just thought maybe tonight the crowd here will be good so we came here...
i hope i remembered correctly haha. but anyway, what takuya said was something like quite sensible... so nakai turned to tsuyopon and said, "see? he talks about sensible stuff. all you know is schedule schedule. what nonsense baka!" ahhahahah poor tsuyo-chan!
after that they all found some time to criticise or comment on things that have happened throughout the concert season so far. nakai had something to say about shingo when he's singing his part in summer blues. (shingo's part is the first 2 verses of the song, then after that is nakai's part, then the chorus.)
he said shingo is too kawaisou (pitiful) and too sad and he's lacking energy when he's singing his part. he should put more energy and soul into singing. and nakai said all this so matter-of-factly! shingo looked at him like totally stunned and asked him "what are you talking about!! it's summer time BLUES you know. BLUES right? how can i be energetic?? i'm SUPPOSED to be pitiful and sad and mellow! it's a SAD song! i'm singing it the correct way! you can expect me to be energetic!"
at this point, shingo makes HUGE hand movements and he shakes his whole body, and does a demo for the first line in summer blues, singing it really extremely exaggerated and it became so funny!!! the whole stadium was laughing so so loud!
so nakai said, yes yes you should be singing it like this, more energy and it makes it nicer to listen to. shingo shouted like no no i don't want it's wrong! so nakai did a vote. he asked "who wants shingo to be pitiful and sad when he sings?" and "who wants him to be energetic and happier?" in the end, there were more votes and hands up for the energetic one!! including smap! haha!
so shingo said, ok ok i'll do it like medium tempo. nakai asked "what do you mean? medium? how is that possible? are you a medium idol" then shingo was like "yes yes i'll consider it and do it medium"
then shingo said he has something to say about the concert as well, and something to complain. as all of you know, during the song "a song for your love", takuya and nakai are at the hanamichi during the whole song. the 3 babies of the group are on the main stage and only join nakai and takuya towards the end of the song. so in the meantime, nakai and takuya are singing and dancing from the hanamichi together, with coordinated steps. and during their singing part, they stand back to back, shoulders touching.
shingo says that when he sees takuya and nakai, their two big brothers standing together at the hanamichi, he feels really shiawase and he's so happy. the 3 of them standing on stage (goro, shingo and tsuyopon) looking at their two big leaders, they all feel really proud!
aww that was such a really sweet thing to say!!!
but he had a complaint. he said that the two of them should be more sexy and more showy for the fans and the camera. especially when they stand back to back, they should be more exaggerated!
then takuya laughed like hell and he said no no no he doesn't want it to be more exaggerated. shingo was like, why not? isn't it good? i think it's good!
then takuya said, no no. i refuse. as it is, nakai is rubbing his butt against my back an awful lot when we're standing together like that. If it?s going to be more exaggerated, he?s only going to rub me even more.
nakai was like, WHO SAYS SO!!! i didn?t rub against you at all!
then shingo said oh you do you do rub! then he gave a demonstration of how nakai rubs. he wiggled his butt really suggestively. it was so so funny!!!
anyway after that, it was tsuyoshi's solo with let's tap. someone... i think nakai and goro, said that tsuyoshi has been really boring. at the start of all his solo sections, he will do a small tap dance with a really cute rhythm, then he'll say "let's tap!" then the music will start.
they said all the concerts so far he's said the same "let's tap!" since tonight is the last concert, he should change it to something more interesting. nakai gave a demonstration and he used the words "kam and kin" to make the rhythm of taps and tsuyoshi is going to do.
like "kam kam kam, kin kam kam, kam kam kam kam kam kam kam - let's tap!!"
then nakai suggested "instead of let's tap, how about breakdance??" everyone laughed and he said "since you are tapping now, tonight's your last night of tapping. after this you can learn breakdance and do breakdancing. so you should say breakdance!"
tsuyoshi said "dame dame. no way"
so smap gave other suggestions that were so funny everyone was laughing like hell. a lot of the nonsense came from takuya and shingo. their other suggestions were "coming soon" (like, the movies?), and "now on sale!" hahahahah oh it was so funny!!
so in the end tsuyoshi said he'll make his own decision and change it to something different. so everyone was wondering what it'll be.
what he said in the end was ..... last tap. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA oh boy. he's so predictable!
later on in the concert, it was the summer's blues song. shingo started off really pitifully and singing it like usual. no one suspected a thing. after the first verse was over, the music really starts and it was shingo's second verse. then he started doing all his funny energetic exagerrated actions!!! he sang the whole verse like that. he was moving all his hands and legs and head and body. hee hee!!
after shingo's part was nakai's part. and nakai was pretending to be really such a poor thing, then his last line of his verse, he did it really energetic too! that was such a funny scene to watch. i wish they did the whole song like that! haahahahaha!!!!
during "a song for your love", takuya and nakai strutted down the hanamichi to where they usually stand for the song. the first verse is sung by the 3 younger boys, so nakai and takuya just danced like normal. then it was the chorus, and the second verse which nakai and takuya sing. up until the first chorus, everything was as normal. but when takuya and nakai started singing, they stood back to back, shoulders touching. but remember takuya said he didn't want to feel nakai rubbing his butt against him anymore? so he stood with his shoulders leaning on nakai, but his knees were very bent and he jutted out his body away from nakai so that nakai's butt can't touch him at all! in other words, only takuya's head and shoulders were touching nakai. hahahahah it was really funny to watch that! then while they did that, they had to be sexy and all, so they were like looking in the camera winking and all that. oooooh i love takuyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (out of point but who cares.)
yup yup... that was basically the funniest bits of the whole concert. oh and during kansha shite in the second part of the song, shingo sang his part in like enka version! it was so cute!
also, recently takuya has custimosed his own brand of captain T tshirts, black colour with a skeleton (i think wearing sunglasses?) in front and a lightning strike behind, which he gave to smap and all the staff. but their's was the normal one with only less than 100 or so rhinestones. but takuya made a couple for himself which were totally made of rhinestones. we saw him wearing this tshirt previously in july when we met him in tmc also. supposedly, when takuya gave one to goro, goro said he doesn't want the normal one and he wants takuya's, but takuya refused. so goro said ok ok i'll pay you but can i have yours? hahahahah
well, during takuya's solo, there's usually a short clip before he comes out to sing. and it always ends with a fan receiving something (lucky lucky!) and then there are the words "tsuzuku" on the screeen, which i assume means "to be continued".
but this last concert, the words appeared again so the whole stadium went "ehh?" cos it's last concert, how is it continued?
then when takuya came out, he said it's not over yet. (he was wearing a captain T tshirt) halfway through his song, he took off the tshirt and threw it into the arena!!! ARGH!!! i want that tshirt so badly!!! so that's what he meant by "not over". he had some more gifts...
also, i think there are usually 2 encores and on special nights when they have more time, 3. this night, i can't remember clearly but i think there were 3 or 4 encores altogether.
usually they will also have individual thanks and individual summary of the year's concert... but this time they didn't have!!! i was so shocked!! and usually they will also have a huge champagne party and all the dancers and musicians will come down to the main hanamichi and they will pour cold champagne all over each other. but this year, they had neat classy champagne glasses on a silver tray!!! so they just said "seno!" and everyone in the stadium joined them to say "kampai!!!" then they drank up!
i think shingo said he wanted beer....
then they sang a last song, sore jya mata ne.
then the concert was over before i knew it!!! by the time it ended, it was close to ten pm. the concert started shortly after 5:30!!! it was really long. my legs were really aching!!
after that, we went out to meet up with mappy and her group of friends. then we had to queue up for the damned bus to take us back to the hotel. it was really horrific!!! the wind was really strong and cold, and it was drizzling. so everywhere was wet and cold and i was just freezing. to make matters worse, it was a really long wait for the bus, and we were all hot (from all the jumping), cold (from the wind and rain) and hungry! we had to wait like 2 hours just to get on the stupid bus!!! then it was another hour to get back to town area, and when we reached the hotel, it was 1:30 am!!! it was really really BAD BAD BAD organisation and i swear never to go there again unless it's the first or last concert.
anyway, mappy held the banner during the concert since we have already held it in ffice:smarttags" />sapporo and fukuoka. we took the banner back from her after the concert because we wanted to bring it to iitomo on monday.
we didn't manage to get into iitomo for the cancelled tickets. so we wanted to wait for the camera crew to come out because just before iitomo starts, they film the streets outside the studio for like 5 seconds. we thought we'd open the banner to let it be filmed. however the moment we took out the banner, the security came over to say it was not allowed...... we didn't put it back in our bags though. cos i was like "oh crap now how?" and were still holding it. then the iitomo guys came over to say please keep it NOW.
so our plans to have it at iitomo was quite screwed up. we were supposed to pass it back to mappy so that she can hold it at iitomo also. but well, they didn't allow us at all. *sigh*
oh anyway who cares. this year's concert has come to an end. oh it's so sad and tragic!!! hurry hurry i hope time passes quick and let's meet up for next year's concert again!!

But Shingo was still having all the buttons on... but when the next song comes out... woohoo!!!!! He suddenly just unbuttoned all showed his body..... *slurp*

Then i asked my bf to make a decision for me. he asked me NOT to wear it, because if the typhoon were serious, my kimono will get dirty and i would be in a big mess. I agreed with him and decided not to wear it. But when me and him got to the dome to buy the goods, i saw a girl was in kimono!!!! 
then i kept on asking him things like "are you sure i shouldn't wear kimono?", " what if the typhoon doesn't get to Osaka?", "hey, it's not too late to ask my sister to bring me the kimono from home", so on and so on.... and i made him mad! 
hahahaa.. glad that he was so understanding. else, i would have mood to enjoy the concert at all. So at the end, i only wore my Shingo Mama T-shirt to the concert. 
Nakai was quite tired that day, because he didn't make funny faces to the camera as usual. I think it was because the osaka dome is a close one, so there is no wind or anything to cool down the stage. My sister said she couldn't really breath in arena. 
Then Tsuyoshi came out with his new jacket for his tap dance, and nakai said the jacket was TOO shiny.
