Hi Paige....and everyone else...
I promise I am working on a report...that will include everyone...what I can remember of everyone...
I plan to have it up on my HP before I leave for Nishinomiya tomorrow, so keep a look out for it.
But I will tell you something, Kimura looks EXACTLY like he looks on TV. He is simply kakkoii...and his jeans were so tight!! he looked so great...really....
Inagaki is quite simply the most beautiful man in Smap...his skin is perfect, his features chiseled out...he is beautiful...
Tsuyoshi was looking down...busy playing with his bad he was carrying...the biggest of everyones bag and he was trying not to hit people with it as he walked through the aisles..and he is thin...very thin..
Shingo is bigger then I ever imagined he stands a head over everyone else, and he was smiling brightly...he looked really happy...
Nakai is tiny...between Kimura and Inagaki, I couldn't see him until he was just next to me. He was the only one not dressed like a star..in fact had he been alone you might have mistaken him for a homeless man..(sorry darling!)

SMAP的五位帥哥，每人都是多元化發展，特別是隊長中居正廣事業領域橫跨演戲、主持及唱歌，全方位的表現讓他成為去年五人當中個人進帳最多的一員。只是人都有弱點，中居長久以來幾近五音不全的歌聲就被人詬病，雖說他已盡力增加唱歌實力，但每遇LIVE演唱，中居的表現還是常讓人為他捏把冷汗！
來自「東京SPORTS」報導指出，SMAP開巡迴演唱會時，只要是中居的SOLO時間，一定會看到許多FANS紛紛起身去上廁所，一位電視相關人員透露：「中居曾提過為何我的個人表演時間，起身上廁所的人會這麼多，難道是因為我唱歌不好聽嗎！？」
這陣子中居主演的電影「模仿犯」大賣座，讓他在演員的評價上更上層樓，但演唱實力太差依舊無法立即改善，而中居也知道自己唱歌不太行的事實，他就曾不只一次在主持的節目中自我調侃唱歌難聽。其實平心而論，中居近年鑽研歌唱技巧的努力有目共睹，光是這點就值得鼓勵，所以不管外界如何批評中居的歌聲，根本無損中居迷對他的支持。[2002/8/4 星報]

Masako chan, the article is basically about Nakai? singing ability. Something to the effect of ?lthough Nakai Masahiro makes more money than other members of SMAP, singing is his weakest spot. It? a known fact that when Nakai sings, it? toilet time for the concert goers. Nakai? movie did really well box office wise, that validated his status as an actor. But his singing ability has not improved as much as his acting skill. Even Nakai would laugh at himself. Having said all the above though, it is also obvious that Nakai has put in effort in trying to improve his singing, and whether or not he sings well, his fans do not mind one way or the other.? My translation is quite horrible, but I hope it helps.
P-chan, I already confess that I am a Shingo-pervert, could you stop putting ideas in my head??? Have an affair with Shingo? huh?gee?mmm?ahhhh?.. that would be heavenly??. Though there will never be such a day, but it I were to have a choice, I would like Takuya to be my friend. Affairs will always end, divorces cancel marriages, but a friend, especially someone as thoughtful as Takuya, he would be a friend for life!!

I was thinking about that article the whole time I was at work...wondering if someone would translate it for me....and I came back and there it was...
It is true, Nakai's fans don't care one bit weather he sings well or not. I personally only complain when it is obvious that he doesn't try....however, in saying that, the person who wrote that article obviously wasn't at Nishinomiya 4th ...Nakai really sang well...he sang My Childhood Friend BETTER then the album version....and his other solo parts were all on, perfect....
I was really proud of him...

Glad Paige obliged.......and that is a fairly good translation in that it captured the essense of what the writer wrote......
that article appeared on the Chinese daily on 4 August 2002 and probably refers to the earlier concert......

I don't want to spoil the concert for those who haven't seen it...
but basically each member has a mini "movie/video" they are all pretty funny..
Nakai's shows clips of his solo last year...interlaced with clips of cirls running to the bathroom....making phone calls and stuff...Then a screen comes up saying..This year is Drink Smap so we hope you drank a lot, and we know you need toilet time...so Nakai Masahiro is now going to give you some time to go to the toilet..BUT he is going to sing his best, without laughing please listen...

Consider all the nice things you?e done for SMAP fans, especially the other day, you responded so quickly to describe Takuya for us, the Kimura fans, it? the least I could do. I am all inspired to try to go to at least one SMAP concert this year?hough it won? be easy, because I am on a tight schedule?f I happen to succeed, I promise you I won? drink any water prior to the concert, just so that I could listen to Nakai sing. Hahahah?.

hahahha...it reminds me of the BIRDMAN concert when Nakai was singing his part of solo in a song(can't remember) and he purposely sang so badly dat all the other members except Takuya were lying on the ground wriggling!!
hahahha..esp Tsuyoshi!! heheheh....he wriggled from a corner of the stage to another.....actually...I personally think that Nakai's singing was originally not dat bad....juz dat he strain his voice to the extreme these years....as in all the shouting...
Listen to their earlier songs and will hear the difference! It's so great,however...rite now I think he is doing a great job to try to sing better again!!

i think nakai sings really well when he doesn't try to make his voice louder. it's only then that he goes outta tune. but yes masako... he really DID sing so well on the 4th in nishinomiya.
i don't know if it's just my own thinking, but the fans on the 4th were really great. from the 4 concerts that i went to, i feel the fans that night really made a difference, and smap members were all so GENKI and singing so well. nothing went wrong that day. it was excellent!!!! nakai's voice was so so smooth.....
taku-chan, i still love you don't worry. hahaha.

I've been search for the Drink SMAP Drink Thread for the past 15 mins,but to no avail....
so I think I'll post it here.....
I finally tasted the drink exactly 5 mths after it's release.
Erm...
I'll have to say I agree with those who said it taste like cough syrup but juz dat it's carbonated.....
I let my mum tried and she immediately spit out,I end up wiping the floor for her.......
She said the can look so unique and nice but the drink tase so erm....U noe.....
I din even finish half of it.....I took a sip and so did my mum...
dat's alll,the rest of the can is still in my frige chilling....erm...dunno when will I be having my next sip?

Ok, I finally finished watching Drink tonight....TOILET TIME! I sitting watching minna go to the bathroom and then the guys go to the toilet then.....SHINGO I thought he GOING TO THE TOILET AND THEY'RE SHOWING IT. ahahahaha! Then Tsuyo came in and realize just for show but for a sec I thought ......He really stood there for a long time!  Not sure what that meant???? Takuya was really sweet during the concert giving away sooooo much stuff. BAHHHHHHHH I cried during Best Friend! Nakai did it for me. When he started I started and Tsuyo oh my! I love them so much.
I love my Shingo but what in the world was his skit about? He bit the orange and said it taste like a peach then she asked something and he said her hips and she goes on a tangent about not being fruit! Look! If my hips taste like fruit to him, HAVE AT IT! Goofy!
Ok that sounded a little sukebe!
