JOHNNY SHOP BASICS:
During concert season is a mad house... Not just SMAPs, any Johnny groups. No one has time to serve you and fans there know the 'system' so you may be a little lost... The first time P-chan & I went, we were so blur!!! Didn't know what the hell was going on, how to get the things, etc... So hope this helps.
1. After concerts, whatever leftover stock of concert goods will be sold at these Johnny's shops. Bear in mind that sometimes, goods are sold out at concert venues and may not be sold at the stores.
2. All goods can be purchased at Concert venues except the full collection of Official Johnny's photographs (150yen each).
How to purchase photographs: Collect the order form in boxes on the walls. All photographs are numbered. Write the Photograph number & quantity you want in the boxes provided. You can also purchase the FULL set of a member by idicating at the upper part of the form where the group names are given. This way, you won't have to write every photograph number in the boxes. Take this form to the cashier together with your other goods.
3. Posters, Uchiwas or any other bulky items may not be on the shelves. But Samples will be displayed. Just tell the cashier what you want & they'll get it for you. All SMAP poster wrappers are colour coded according to the member's colours - Group poster is Black, Nakai is Blue, Takuya is Red, Goro is Pink, Tsuyopon is yellow & Shingo is Green. Make sure you get your right poster.
4. Basically, you pick out all the things you want from the shelves, fill in the photograph order form and make a mental note of the other items not stocked on the shelves that you want. Go to the cashier, pay and get everything once. The queues are often long unless it's off concert season.
5. The stores will be crowded during concert season for any Johnny groups. You may have to queue outside. I've ever queued over 2 hours outside Harajuku! It was during Kattun Concert season not SMAP!
6. All shops stock different quantities. The Harajuku store may sell out of an item but the Nagoya store may still have it. From what I've realised, the other stores do have more stock than the Harajuku one cos that's the most popular.
