i'm a filipino currently staying in vietnam and i was really shocked when i heard the news about the landslide.
the landslide happened in one of our provinces on the south...i just also hope that everyone's ok.

TOKYO -- Japan expressed sympathy and said it was ready to offer assistance after a landslide buried an entire village in the Philippines.
"Japan is preparing for appropriate assistance," a foreign ministry statement said.
Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi sent a message to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo "to express the deepest condolences," it said.
The Philippine Red Cross said about 200 people were feared killed and 1,500 people were missing when the landslide ravaged the village of Guinsaugon in the south of the Philippine island of Leyte.
Japan, Asia's biggest economy puts a priority on close relations with Southeast Asia and was a major donor after the Indian Ocean tsunami in December 2004.
