YATTA!!! It's official... Shingo will be releasing a picture book!!!香取慎吾が初のフォトダイアリー発売「本当の慎吾がここに」ＳＭＡＰの香取慎吾（２９）が初のフォトダイアリー「ＳＮＡＰ　ＮＯ　ＳＨＩＮＧＯ」（光文社、２９８０円）を１０月１３日に発売する。テレビ朝日系「ＳｍａＳＴＡＴＩＯＮ」の無料ＰＲ紙「ＳｍａＴＩＭＥＳ」に掲載された「香取慎吾の１年間を、１日１枚、本人が撮影した写真で紹介する」という企画に本人がコメントを追記し、再編集した。一昨年１０月１６日から昨年１０月１５日までの３６５日を紹介。コンサートや番組収録の裏側、メンバーとのプライベートショット、オフの海外旅行など素顔が満載。写真すべてに日本語、英語、韓国語を併記。英訳は香取が、韓国語訳は草なぎ剛（３２）が行った。さらに、香取と２ショット撮影ができる特別チケットが３冊だけ封入されているのも注目だ。香取は「この本にはあなたの知らない香取慎吾が、本当の香取慎吾がいるはずです。夢、希望、コンサート、生放送、歯医者、ビール、情熱...さあ１年という長くて短い、短くて長い冒険に出かけよう。ぐだぐだで、ぐでぐでな、冒険へ」とコメントしている。 [announced ２００６年０９月２２日Sanspo.com]Title:Snap No ShingoCosts:2,980yenRelease date:13 October 2006Pictures in the book are the compilation of photos that Shingo SNAPed for SMATIMES - SmaStation's weekly newsletter last season. As an assignment, Shingo was to take a photo during the couse of his daily life and the photos were published as some sort of photo blog on he backpage of SmaTimes for a year for SmaStation-4 between 16 Oct 2004 to 15 Oct 2005.Photos include concert backstage, duringprogram recording, private snap shots(without makeup)and pictures taken while travelling overseas.The photobook is in Japanese with translation in English, done by Shingo, and Korean done by Tsuyopon.There are also 3 books that contain a special ticket... Which entitles you to have a photo session with Shingo.... Lucky-san will receive 2 phtotos taken with Shingo (shoot me now).

I know what I'll be doing during the flight home... Keke... But I'm a little bimioed over the book... A little upset too... cos most of the pictures do not have Shingo in it... It's always a body part against a background... His arm or leg esp... I've collected most of the issues of SmaTimes so I have those pictures already (damn) thou the book pics would be bigger I'm presuming... I was hoping for a photo photo book... tsk... I hope that the book will include never published before pictures of Shingo... Oh by the way girls... There are a few pictures that I'm certain were taken in his house... I've done a mental jigsaw of his house thru the photos from SmaTimes!! Hehehe!! Yes... I'm obsessed... These are some of the photos I took in the [SNAP no SHINGO] exhibition held in Tokyo 13-17 October 2006. It was a project by Shingo & he personally organised & came up with the idea of this exhibition that featured pictures from his book. Entrance banner Flowers from Smastation & SmapxSmap The main hall: Covered in SHINGO-GALORE pictures from floor to celing... There was also a video clip of the making of this exhibition & of how Shingo personally designed the concept of it. He also did up part of the wall himself. I took a video of the clip... Will upload it when I see P-chan. It's with her. The message board to leave msges for Shingo... Of course we left our little messages... Close up of the wall... This is the part of the wall that Shingo himself pasted. Otsukare baby! He even pasted on the outsides of the building, the toilets & all... We had to go around looking for them. Keke The rubber stamp that Shingo designed himself. One stamp for every day of the exhibition. You could stamp on your copy of [SNAP no Shingo]. This one is for the 13th Oct. On the final day (17th Oct) they cleaned out the message boards. So P-chan left another message. This time, it was MUCH bigger than the first one we left!! Keke! The full collection of the rubber stamps. Notice each one is specially drawn. I didn't know he pasted the one wall and had pictures even in the bathrooms! I saw the press release for but I didn't know all the details. You are one lucky woman, for a Shingogirl, that must have been like one of the best places! That's a place to just sit and stay for days looking at pictures. After watching the clip... Memories flashed back and it reminded me of the [Snap No Shingo] that i went to this October.... it makes me want to go again... -------------------------------------------------------------- 愛する人へありがとう

I really would have been in my happy place being there seeing all those pictures. Thanks P-chan for uploading them. Shingo really is artistic drawing the vampires out of their faces and stuff. I wonder if he's gonna release another photo book. I would definitely buy it. It's a good book, he talks about all kinds of stuff and just his daily life. That's what so great, he tells us about his favorite shoes or glass.....crap. Things every die-hard fan should know.
