小学校時代に剣道経験もあるが、あらためて指導を受ける。 ... seems like they are talking about kendo.... think samurai uses kendo....

SOO EXCITING!!! NEW MOVIE!!!! yap jiqito they were talking abt kendo there...and i think it's samurai too...im wondering who is going to be the female lead!!! haha it's always like the next topic after u know takuya is going to star in sth...drama or movie the next thing we always ask is who's the lucky girl who's going to be acting wif him!!!and if im not wrong seems like this samurai is going to be married..not really sure jap not gd enough. but anyway can't wait!!! if shooting for the movie is going to start this december den will he be acting in a new dorama??!!!

yeah!!! another new movie from takuya!!! hehe... so so gonna looking forward to it...
blind samurai??? it's a new challenge for takuya!!! wonder how will it be like... hehe... think it shouldn't be a problem for takuya...
read about Zatoichi before somewhere in the past... but can't remember the exact story... haha... never mind, shall wait to watch takuya's new movie next year!!!

Kimutaku to be a Samurai
The Shochiku movie studio announced this week that SMAP star Kimura Takuya (32) is to play the lead in the latest samurai movie by director Yamada Yoji (69). In "Bushi no Ichibun," Kimutaku will have his first period drama role, as Mimura Shinnosuke, a retainer to a feudal lord who loses his sight after tasting poison intended for his master. He loses his job, and his wife seeks the help of a powerful local bureaucrat. But she is raped, leading Shinnosuke to plot his revenge. The movie is Yamada's third samurai flick after many years directing the "Otoko wa Tsurai Yo" series. He received an Academy Award nomination for "Tasogare Seibei" (Twilight Samurai) in 2004, the year he made "Kakushi Ken, Oni no Tsume" (The Samurai's Hidden Sword).

YOKATTA!!!!!!!! I didn't know who Yoji Yamada was until "Twilight Samurai" which is one of my all-time favorite movies! If minna haven't watched, you should! This is a good one and Takuya's starring in his next film! YOKATTA!!!!!!!! We are definitely gonna see a different side of him in this movie. Pamsy wrote that the movie is gonna air at the Venice International Film Festival and 3 other film festivals! This is gonna make our beloved Takuya truly an international star especially since he's the LEADING MAN! URESHII!!!!!!!!!

i was surprised to see this news report on takuya's new movie also!!!
it's like 'wow, so fast?' to see the news report... cos' usually it will not be so fast... and plus they put up a cho kakkoii picture of takuya... hehe...
maybe one of the reporters with life is a big fan of smap??? hahaha...

yuki-chan... i also felt a little bit of sarcasm though... but sure or not... we don't know.. as long as they don't talk about takuya, i'm fine with it... or maybe they're jealous of him?? haha... at first just one read... i thought the person who wrote this could be someone who is crazy over takuya... but after reading alot of times.. i don't think so...!
f-chan... why do you hate samurai shows??? there must be a reason right??? i also think the picture they published is very lovely... hehe.. very kakkoii!

Left2rot, awww.. don't mind me. I just hate fighting/war stuff. They generally bore me and drive me to zzzz.... So generally, I try to avoid watching anything, in any languages, with have those elements. Samurai drama/movies mean they will have fighting scenes also, dakara ne.
Demo.... because I'm cwaaaazy about Kimura, I've even rewatched him in stuff like Oda Nobunaga, Chuusingura (both samurai-s) and also Fly Boys Fly (war).
Don't worry, I won't miss his new samurai movie

Japanese entertainment major Shochiku announced Thursday that it will produce and distribute Bushi no Ichibun, the third and final installment of Yoji Yamada's acclaimed samurai trilogy that began with his 2004 Oscar-nominated The Twilight Samurai.
Yamada's second film in the samurai trilogy was the recent release The Hidden Blade.
Shochiku's managing director of development and production, Takeo Hisamatsu made the announcement.
Based on a story by Shuhei Fujisawa (Moumoku-ken, Kodama Gaeshi), who also is the original writer for both The Twilight Samurai and The Hidden Blade, Bushi no Ichibun follows the relationship between a young samurai who loses his eyesight during a mission and his wife, who eventually sacrifices herself in order to save her husband's honor.
 Principal photography on Bushi no Ichibun is slated to start in early 2006. Takuya Kimura is set to star in the lead role as the young blind swordsman. Kimura received international acclaim in his appearance in the feature film 2046, directed by Wong Kar-Wai.
We believe this next film will be every bit as big a hit as the previous films in the trilogy, said Hisamatsu. Our long standing relationship with Yamada continues to be extremely rewarding and we're very excited to continue this relationship.
Yoji Yamada first joined Shochiku as an assistant director and later launched the popular Tora-san series, the world's longest running theatrical film franchise. The Hidden Blade was his 78th film. |

i can't wait to know who the female lead is going to be!!!!! they shud decide it soon deshou? since filming is supposed to start in early 2006...argh...how lucky that girl is...i hope they choose someone gd...i was really pretty disappointed wif the takuya-koyuki pair in engine this year...no offence to pple who like koyuki! just my own opinion. hehe...

oh in this year's kouhaku they had a small segment where they showed the director and kimura and kimura was all smiles and so cute! the director was praising kimura so much and it made kimura all bashful. i can't wait for this movie to come out, it's killing me. i am also very curious about who the female lead will be.

キムタク主演映画格上げ、松竹正月映画に
ＳＭＡＰ木村拓哉（３３）の主演映画「武士の一分」（山田洋次監督、１２月公開）がハリウッド映画規模で公開されることが２６日、分かった。製作・配給の松竹が全国３００館以上で封切る。同社の日本映画として最大級の規模。昨年１０月に製作発表して以来、劇場関係者からの反響が予想を超えたため、当初予定していた秋公開から看板の正月映画に格上げするなど、最高のステージを用意した。
この日、都内で行われた松竹の新作ラインアップ発表会には山田監督と木村がゲストとして登場。全国から集まった劇場関係者や興行関係者約１０００人がサプライズ演出にどよめいた。
映画は現在撮影中。初コンビは師弟のように息が合っていた。山田監督は「すばらしい俳優。いろいろな魅力を発見しながら撮影しています。期待してください」。粘り強い演出で撮り直しを何度も求めるが、木村は「チャンスをもらったという意識でやっています」と前向きだ。出番のない日も差し入れを持参して１人で現場に足を運び、撮影を見学している。若手スタッフとも気軽に会話を交わすなど、現場に一体感を生み出している。同監督は「本当に気持ちのいい男」と周囲に話している。
木村は１０年ぶりの日本映画出演。「ギリギリの時間でもの作りをすることが多々ありますが、今は裕福で高価な時間を過ごさせていただいてます」とめまぐるしいドラマ収録との違いを体感している。「充実しています。楽しみにしてください」と締めくくり、大きな拍手を浴びていた。

The movie is said to wrap up in march this year and will open ard Jan 07.It's gonna open in 300 cinemas all over Japan and the biggest production from the movie company if I'm not wrong.
The female lead is a very experience stage actress though relatively 'new' to dramas and movies. Most of the cast are made up of actors and actresses who are experienced in stageplay as well.
As usual,the director had only good comments for Takuya.
